Everyone’s Favorite Radio Psychiatrist In my time slot with the local cable company, the television show, Frazier, airs twice nightly at 11 pm until midnight. What a lovely time to watch my favorite show. It is indeed the part of the day I look forward to the most. Frazier fans know that Frazier was one of the bar regulars on Cheers until he moved back home to his native Seattle and began airing his own talk radio show on KACL. His retired and disabled police chief father–complete with his tattered favorite chair and dog, Eddie–moved with him into his luxury high-rise apartment. They are joined by Daphne, a British healthcare worker, that sees to the father’s needs. The cast is completed by Roz, Frazier’s producer, and Niles, his brother. Niles is in love with Daphne. I adore the beautiful and warm sets for the show, the apartment, the station, the coffee shop, Niles’s apartment, and their cabins. I enjoy the interplay of their personalities and their relationships. It is the best show on television.
